All primary and secondary school students in Hong Kong are welcome to apply.Each school can nominate up to 4 students per category to participate in the selection. (If parents / art studios / organizations / other individuals would like to nominate student, they are required to complete an application form signed by their school teachers to confirm their eligibility to participate in the competition*) Shortlisted candidates / corresponding nominators will receive individual notifications to advance to the Quarterfinals round. Each shortlisted candidate / corresponding nominator will receive a notification if they are selected to advance to the Quarterfinals. In the event you do not receive the notification prior to March 17, 2024, it implies that the candidates are not advanced to the quarterfinals.

Random topics composed of one adjective and one noun will be released right before the battle and each contestant will have to express their given topic in 20 minutes with digital drawing tools. The same rules will be applied to all matches. Multiple judges will present for the scoring and contestants who receive higher scores will proceed to the next round.
Our professional judging panel is composed of committee members of ARTBAT Academy and Hong Kong artist team. The judging criteria are as follows:
【Primary Schools】and【Secondary Schools】each have 8 shortlisted contestants, and will be randomly divided into 4 groups (Group A / B / C / D) according to their categories: A and B belong to【Primary Schools】; C and D belong to【Secondary Schools】.
There are 4 contestants in each group and they will compete with members of the same group. Time limit for all matches is 20 minutes. Contestant who gets the higher score will advance to the next round.
